Standard Hydrogen electrode (to prevent air circulation)

A standard hydrogen electrode (SHE) is a hydrogen electrode when the activities of hydrogen gas and hydrogen ions are all 1.

　　Hydrogen reference electrodes are often used in fuel cell research. That's why we designed the standard hydrogen electrode. In order to increase the platinum area, we changed the platinum wire of the standard hydrogen electrode to platinum black. Electrode joints are SGJ 14/15, matching the diameter of Metrohm and RRDE glass cells. The length of the joint bottom is 75mm and both the Metrohm and RRDE cells mentioned above can be used. .
　The internal solution of the electrode is to add 0.5MH2SO4 or 1MHCl solution from the customer, that is, the H+ ion concentration is 1 mol. When 1 atm hydrogen gas is passed through, the potential of the electrode becomes a value (potential) close to that of the standard hydrogen electrode.
